Chief Administrative Secretary of the Ministry of Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs Racheal Shebesh has thrown her weight behind former Premier Raila Odinga’s faction in the ongoing political tussle.
In a statement aimed at Deputy President William Ruto’s camp, Shebesh claimed Raila is equal to President Uhuru Kenyatta and that it is the president who looked for Raila and not the other way round.
“Raila does not need a job from Uhuru. Him and Uhuru are equal. Uhuru went for Raila and told him my brother, you have huge following I cannot move without you” Shebesh posed.
The former Nairobi Women Rep insisted that Raila was not after any seat or endorsement from Jubilee side, saying his rivals are petty.
“Raila is not after any seat by jubilee or the government. But I can tell you he is not petty the way you think or are hearing on radio. If you hear people tell you handshake is a lie, they don’t know what they are talking about” she said.
