Suspected thugs breaking into cars in Murang’a unmasked

Police have arrested a gang of four suspected to be behind car burgling in Murang’a town after a hotel’s CCTV captured them breaking into a car in the parking.

The gang is composed of three women and a man, reportedly aged between 45 and 54 years. They conduct the break-ins using a Toyota Fielder KCK 693T steered by their female accomplice.

The CCTV at Jambo Hotel in Mukuyu, Murang’a town captured the four driving to the parking bay in the said Fielder on Tuesday at 5: 41pm and within six minutes they had managed to break into a car and they stole. They tried breaking into another but apparently failed.

They were arrested in Roysambu estate and identified as Joseph Kuria Wangari, Rosaline Wangari Mwihaki, Jane Muthoni Ndung’u, Rose Wairimu Kihato. They hail from Murang’a Kiambu and Naivasha areas.

Today they were arraigned in Murang’a Court but police sought more time to do thorough investigations.
