Form two student at Muthaiti Mixed Secondary School at Gilgil, Nakuru County hanged himself inside the church on Saturday evening and left behind a “will”.
Dennis Ngugi, 18 from Kiambogo village committed suicide inside Muthaiti PCEA. His body was found dangling from the roof on the day he was to be baptised alongside other faithful.
He left behind a note he termed “My will”. He indicated he owned a mobile phone, three chicken and quarter an acre of land that he instructed be inherited by his uncle.
Relatives said Ngugi had earlier said he would commit suicide one day but never disclosed what troubled him. They thought he was making jokes.
His grandmother Jacinta Wanjiku said he left on Saturday evening going to church. They learnt his disappearance the following morning when they sought him to milk the cows.

His aunt Martha Muthoni said he saw Ngugi write something on his exercise book then pluck that page. It turned out it was the suicide note in form of a will.
