Traders in Githurai 45 market encroaching the space left for railway line woke up to a rude shock after their kiosks were bulldozed down.
Kenya Railways had issued notice to people living or doing business near the meter gauge railway line to vacate.
The affected traders in Githurai were largely those selling farm produce which they usually leave there.
Sections of Kenyans faulted the government while others supported the move saying it was time the railway line’s buffer zone was made free of human habitation.
