The embattled Sonko was charged with assault and forced entry into a private land in Nairobi.

Ten cases had be levelled against him and yesterday it appeared another case linked with terror has emerged. This is what led to him being incarcerated at Kamiti Prison.

An officer from anti-Terrorism Police Unit of DCI has sworn an affidavit linking Sonko to planst to wreck havoc using militias.

They have sought to detain him for 30 days pending investigations.

Sonko is suspected to have been procuring military attire associated with terrorist groups that pose a threat to the national security and sovereignty of the country.
