Uhuru was last seen on April 23 heading to China accompanied by opposition leader Raila Odinga to seek an additional Sh368 billion loan that was reportedly unsuccessful.

After Kenyans on Twitter under #FindPresidentUhuru questioned his whereabouts State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena has revealed President is holed up in his office, busy working.

“The President is around, it doesn’t mean that because he is not seen in public he is not there, he has an office where he goes every day and he is working on several things,” Kanze said.
Kanze claimed she failed to keep constant communication about Uhuru’s activities after he returned.
“I accept that a mistake was made, but I am focused and will make things right as well as share information more frequently with the media and the public” she claimed.
