Asbel Kiprop, the 2008 Olympic 1500 meters champion who is also a police officer has dared the National Police Service to sack him and do it quickly before he uses his gun to commit unspecified offense.
Kiprop who was last week banned from participating in race competitions for four years by International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Disciplinary Tribunal over doping issues has in the last 24 hours penned chilling posts on his Facebook page.
This afternoon he posted; “I pray to National Police Service to dismiss me Now. Before I use their machinery to earn myself Justice. Kindly. IAAF come take your medals. I don’t need any on my house wall”.
Earlier the 29-year-old athlete made a disturbing statement and also revealed his money transactions to relatives since 2014.
“IAAF come take your medals. I don’t need any on my house wall”
Kiprop said; “They can’t stand with me now & for me to earn justice but if I die today; They will attend my send off to testify my legacy & preach my legacy!!! Don’t welcome them”.
“I have used my latest Safaricom line since 2014. My m-Pesa correspondent reflect’s my priorities Mom is leading b4 all duties & the rest; while my own Father doesn’t even reflect among the top 20! Just because my Father is me & I am Him”.
Kiprop is now not picking calls from journalists and friends. His woes started in November 2017 after he failed doping test. Then in August last year a video went viral of him kissing and caressing Nancy Chepsiya, a married woman in car. He separated with his wife Sammary Cherotich, also an athlete.
