Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro was rescued from sleeping at the Royal Media Services (RMS) studio or a cold cell by his fellow legislators last night.
Police had camped outside the RMS for assaulting a police during his fracas with Kieleweke members at Gitui Catholic Church in Kiharu.
However, he was sneaked out of the media house premises by politicians who came to give him moral support. They included MPS Kimani Ichung’wa, Alice Wahome, John Kiarie and Senator Irungu Kang’ata and Kipchumba Murkomen.
A scared Nyoro had declared to sleep at the RMS. He had came for the Inooro TV’s Kiririmbi Show hosted every Sunday.
The Tangatanga member was not invited in Gitui Church’s fundraiser that was attended by nominated MP Maina Kamanda. He however gatecrashed and caused a chaos that ended up with him assaulting an Administration Police.
It is unclear how he escaped without police knowledge at around midnight. He earlier said would present himself to police today.
