Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika and Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria were denied access into a President Uhuru Kenyatta’s function in Nakuru today.
Uhuru was issuing Title deeds to some people of the area and because the two politicians are area leaders they attended only to encounter a rude shock.
Accompanied by their supporters, the two were ejected and the gates closed.
“We were informed that orders from above are that we cannot be allowed entry because we belong to an Unwanted Faction! Meanwhile we are building bridges and uniting the nation” Kihika claimed.
Kihika and Gikaria are close allies of Deputy President William Ruto and have in the past run into trouble with Uhuru’s faction.
In April last year Kihika’s security detail was withdrawn. Days later she posed with an automatic rifle while in shooting range saying she was ready to protect herself.
