A group of Muslims took to task Christians on the teachings of the Bible they said mirrors Koran but are strictly adhered to by Muslims than Christians.

The three-day crusade took place at Kenyatta Road in Juja along the Thika Superhighway. It was held in the open, near the termini to the city.

Their understanding of the bible left many Christians awed, and the few who represented Christians in fielding questions in the Bible admitted there is no strictness in obeying the teachings of the Bible as opposed to Koran by Muslims.

The debate yesterday dwell on women and their role in houses of worship. In Islam women are not allowed to be involved in religion matters but to surprise of those attending the crusade, they picked a verse from the Bible that they said instructs Christians not to allow women to have authority over men. “Woman should not preach at all. It’s even said clearly in the book of Corinthians 14:34. Jesus did not have female disciples and all prophets were men” the Muslim preacher stated.

The verse reads; “Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church”.

He then verse from Timothy that reads; “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.  I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet”. (Watch Video Below)

He said they are shocked how Christians are not keen on Biblical teachings; “We are forced to tolerate you but when an opportunity like this one arises we tell you the truth so that in the last days you don’t accuse us of knowing these things but we did not tell you” he said.
