Murang’a water Minister involved in accident that killed his passenger


Murang’a Water, Agriculture and Irrigation County Executive Officer Paul Macharia escaped with injuries but his passenger was killed in a car crash at Kaharati Area, Murang’a.

Macharia was driving the county vehicle, a Ford when he lost control of it and crashed into building stones, having missed a house and a tree.

They rammed into building stones.

His yet to be identified passenger died instantly. He was driving towards Murang’a. The front part of the vehicle was wrecked.

In May 13 last year Murang’a County Public Service Board chairman Titus Waithaka perished in a Sunday morning accident along Thika superhighway, near Safari park.

He was driving in Isuzu Double cabin vehicle belonging to the county when he rammed into guardrail.
