Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has honoured the promise he made on August 23 night at Homeland Hotel during the fundraiser of the ailing Mighty Salim.
Mighty needed Sh2.5 million to undergo kidney transplant. He held fundraiser at Turacco Village in March and another last month at Homeland where Kuria said he will look into the issue and have NHIF clear the bill.
Now Mighty is receiving treatment at Karen Hospital. According to his sister Sarafina Salim, Kuria was supported them.
“Mighty Salim is receiving treatment at Karen Hospital after he fell ill on Saturday. Thank you a million folds Mhesh for facilitating and making this possible. Get well soon Mighty Salim” Sarafina said.
The family and fan were not sure if Kuria would honour the promise but to their surprise Mighty will received the much-needed medical attention.
Mighty was diagnosed with diabetes in mid-2003 then kidney failure in October 2018. He was undergoing dialysis twice a week at Kenol Hospital, Murang’a, costing him Sh18,000.
