Seasoned gospel singer Elizabeth Nyambere is sick and in dire need of treatment in India.
Already top Kikuyu singers drawn from gospel and secular areas have come together to raise money for her treatment.
About 30 singers including Samidoh, Muigai wa Njoroge, Shiro wa GP, Ben Githae, Musaimo wa Njeri, Loise Kim, Mary Lincoln, Jimmy Gait, Joyce wa Mama, Gachathi wa Thuo and others will participate in fundraiser at Ruiru Stadium on Sunday.
She has been ailing for a long time. Undergoing treatment locally and abroad.
Her popular songs include Ni Muoyo Maita Igana’, ‘Mutumia Musamaria’ and ‘Ni Thakame’ released in September.
In popular ‘Wairimu Thii Uhoro’ song, she eulogised her daughter Grace Wairimu Melisa who was killed in controversial manner along friends in May 2014 as they drove to Nyahururu.
