Moses Kanyira, Kameme FM Sports presenter and continuity announcer has been kicked out of Kameme FM alongside other senior journalists in their sister station K24.

Kanyira had worked for the leading Kikuyu radio station for 17 years. He once vied for Tetu parliamentary seat in 2007 election but went back to the station.

He is among dozens of journalist sacked by the MediaMax, the company that owns Kameme FM, Kameme TV, K24, People Daily and other stations.

He told the fans on Facebook; “Kwaherini for those days we have been together in Kameme.Thanks my fans for your support for the last 17 years.To the best of my knowledge I have offered my service to this station in full capacity”.

Others sacked alongside him include K24’s Managing Editor Fred Njiiri, Frankline Wambugu, Boniface Mutakha and Ali Mtenzi.
