Jaguar: We’ll invade illegal foreigners’ shops, evict them

Starehe MP Charles Njagua (Jaguar) has told government to deport illegal Chinese in informal sector or else they will gang up, invade their shops and kick them out.

Early this month Interior and National Security CS Fred Matiang’i promised to deport kick out illegal Chinese doing businesses in Gikomba and other informal sectors.

Up-to now it has not happened. Now Jaguar has given the state 24 hours after to kick them out of the country.

“Hundreds of foreigners are working here. I am giving government 24 hours to deport them or else we’ll invade their shops, beat them and take them to the airport” he warned.

Jaguar said if Matiang’i and Immigration department fails to heed him they will pick the illegal foreigners at the airport and take them back home.

He was accompanied to Kamukunji area by Lang’ata MP Nixon Korir and Butere MP Tindi Mwale where he said that some Chinese in business there are ordering arrests of Kenyan traders and even harassing them.

Chinese have taken over small-scale businesses in Kenya.
