Popular tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi has denied claims he tweeted a promise of private jet to marathoner Eliud Kipchoge if he broke the under two hours’ race.

Tweet post by a JimmyWanjigi1 indicated that he called Eliud and promise him the pricey jet. Today another one followed with claims the jet will be delivered as promised after he won the race.

Wanjigi denied the claims saying it was a fake twitter being used to hoodwink Kenyans.

“It is a fake account, it has nothing to do with me but we are proud of Eliud Kipchoge for what he has done for the human race and for Kenya in particular,” he told a local media house this afternoon.

Wanjigi added that he is not on social media and thus any platform bearing his name on either Facebook or Twitter is fake.
