Former Minister and presidential contender Martha Karua has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta not to go for Prime Minister post come 2022.
There have been discreet plans to change constitution to bring in the premiership for Uhuru to take after his term is over.
Karua however terms it unconstitutional saying the two term limit set in the constitution is intended to stop leaders from clinging to power.
“As a good friend I am telling the president to not be tempted to preside over an unconstitutional post. Finish your term and let somebody else take the mantle,” Karua advised Uhuru.
