Transport and Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary James Macharia will just be a passenger in his vehicle after the year 2029.
He says he got his driver’s license in United Kingdom that indicates when he reaches 70 years he will stop driving vehicles. And that will be in the next 10 years.
“Why do Kenyans still retain rights to drive even when they are very old and frail? I got mine in UK and it will expire in 2029. In Kenya we don’t look at age. Those are matters we shall put into account,” Macharia said.
