Billionaire businessman and founder of Mount Kenya University Simon Gicharu has launched a television station that will disseminate stories in Swahili.
TV47 was officially launched on Saturday at Laico Regency, having tapped talents from leading media houses.
The famous Jicho Pevu investigations will be part of this station. Former Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA) and CNBC Africa journalist Eugene Anangwe will head the station.
TV47 has promised to tell untold stories in corporate sector and their involvement in youth in Swahili language.
The station has been very active both on Youtube, GOtv channel 813 and channel 80 on both Bamba TV and StarTimes.
