President Uhuru Kenyatta was an angry man today when he visited Mang’u in his Gatundu South backyard.
He blasted Tanga Tanga members who are campaigning for his Deputy William Ruto and apparently opposed to the just released Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
Uhuru spoke in Kikuyu dialect. He said those always on campaign trail have abandoned their responsibilities back home.
“There comes a point where we say enough is enough and we are tired! Before we released the report, they were all over for a month lecturing us about things. Now the report is out and they have taken another direction. These are people who do not know where they are headed,” Uhuru stated.
He added; “Your only concern is how you will live not about who the leader is. Whether the leader is called Njuguna or Waweru or Haji or Onyango or any other name, they will not be able to change your life or lead you to fight or destruction of your business… you will be able to continue with your stuff.
Apparently his anger was directed towards Kikuyu leaders like MPs Moses Kuria, Kimani Ichung’wa and Ndindi Nyoro amongst others.
