Kangemi Matatu Owners (KMO) Sacco driver Josephat Mwangi and his conductor James Njau are not your ordinary matatu crew.

Since 2014 they have extended daily services to persons with disabilities along Waiyaki Way at no extra cost.

They pick them every evening at the National Council of Persons with Disabilities offices along Waiyaki Way and drop them at their respective home stages.

Other operators charge them an extra Sh50 to carry their wheelchairs which is not the case with Mwangi and Njau.
