BBC World Service radio has interviewed Inooro TV Murang’a correspondent Victor Kinuthia in regard to the bashing and subsequent trending after he erred during a live reporting on Citizen TV yesterday evening after Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro was arrested.
Yesterday he cut short the live reporting after he became incoherent. Section of Kenyans bashed him while others including his bosses at Royal Media Services encouraged him to soldier on.
For better part of today Kinuthia has been trending on Facebook and Twitter, prompting BBC to interview him in regard to the matter. He got a call from BBC reporter Chris Ancil requesting for an interview.
Kinuthia broke the news thus; “After trending at the top on Twitter, the BBC World Service radio in London gave me a call, asking to interview me. They want to know, from me, why I am trending in Kenya. My story of encouragement will be hitting the airwaves across the world in 2 hours’ time. Be blessed for the continued support,”.
